ERIN & AHREN - BORDERLAND PARK, EASTON, MA - ENGAGEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER

Another post that is near and dear to my heart – my sister-in-law is engaged! Ahren proposed to Erin this past April while vacationing in Hawaii (lucky) and popped the question on her birthday with a stunner of a ring. As you may notice, they both have the same first name – and so do I! You can only imagine the confusion at family gatherings hearing our name called – even during our shoot we sometimes resorted to middle names. Nonetheless, they are both naturals to the camera and didn’t need much direction from me anyways.

Erin and Ahren had a great idea and included their dog Heidi in their engagement shoot at Borderland Park as she has a very important place in both their hearts. Heidi is actually a very shy dog and is nervous around most people, but you really can’t tell from the photos; she was on her best behavior and often posed for the camera (we can thank the father-in-law with a favorite squeaky toy for that)! I’m glad she was able to be part of what will become some of their family memories together.

They plan to get married next year – best of luck to them both as they plan for the wedding!
